So later on, pengetua came and the show started.
Me, Kin Yen, Wei Jim, Wei Khai and Zi Yi changed into our dancing cloths and we stoned at the kitchen(we treat it as the backstage...haiz...)

The pancaragam went up and gave a wonderful performance.
Then, Wee Nie went up and, hey, she knows how to play a flute. Nice.
Then, its our turn. We went up the stage and this is our performance:

Prefect annual dinner 2009!!! Part 2 ( Until dinner starts)

Yeah we reached our destination. The ballroom is smaller than i thought...nvm that...so we prepared things for the dinner...prepare...prepare...prepare...skip this part.

When all the preparations are done, we went to change. I wore my tux...of course...Kin Yen, Wei Jim, Wei Khai and Khai Jett laughed and claims that I look EXACTLY like a prefect wearing a blazer when I'm wearing my tux T.T and they are going to vote me for the best dress male PREFECT...=.=lll

Tsen Vei was the 1st guest to come in. ^.^ 5 mins later, people started coming in. They took alot of picture...but i didn't...zzz

At 6.40, We planned to start our 1st game...but the number of guest's are not enough yet...so we can only have 5 tables playing...So, Kin Yen gave the guest's a short brief about the rule of game...it goes something like this:
-The paper is filled with 40 instructions
-Read all the instructions
-Each person do 1 question
-Each table has their own facilitator
-Some question requires the player to run up to the stage
-Some question requires the satisfactory of the table facs, some need the satisfactory of the stage facs
-Materials and apparatus are prepared for some questions

Basically its a prank. The paper is filled with all those stupid questions like "Jump straight up 3 times, then act like a dog, going on all fours, turning yourself 3 times and barking 3 times." or run up the stage and try a tongue twister etc.

The key to this game is..."read all the instructions".
Instruction 39, it is written there :" only do question number ?,?? and ???." means they don't need to do all the questions :P

Yeah, so the facilitators rushed the tables like mad and they never thought about looking through all the questions b4 they start. Haha it was fun as I was the facilitator for Form 5s. Hen Yu is so funny lol.

Well...the game took too long so we have to end it early...haiz...but hey, it was fun!!!^.^

Last last night was the prefect annual dinner...or a farewell party for the form 5s. It is held in the Tropicana Golf and Country Resort.
Since i have no transport to there...i can only count on Kin Yen's transport!!!...So basically i juz bring all my luggage and went to Kin Yen's house right after school ends. Kin yen style:"That was my plan..."
So after packing all the stuff...oh shit...
5 t-shirts...
3 pairs of shoes...
3 pairs of socks...
2 set of trousers...
1 set of tux...
1 camera...
1 hand phone...
And I still needa bring my school books!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaa...

So...i end up bringing my
school bag(for school books),
my bulky badminton bag(for shirts and dresses),
a paper bag(for shoes)
and a hanging tux...
zzz im like a refugee liddat...

Yeah...so basically i juz squeeze up Kin Yen's transport and went 2 his house.
I had lunch there and Kin Yen tried out his new downloaded mbaa. And it works!!! Kin Yen tried out his game while i went bathe.

Zi Yi and Wei Khai showed up. After practicing dancing for a while...we set off to Tropicana Golf and Country Resort!!!'s ballroom...of course...

Went 4 the prefect camp last friday...I really don't feel like going 2 the camp at first...why? Its PREFECT CAMP...damit...and it is held in school...so...zzz...(btw...the sequence and time may be incorrect, sry ya?)

Day 1
No transport there...so i called my aunty and she tell me 2 wait 4 her at 11.45am.
11.45am: Aunty arrive, fetch me.
12.00pm: Reach school, nothing 2 do, slack wif Wei Khai.
12.30pm: Slacking......
1.00pm : Still slacking......
1.30pm : Slacking in progress......
2.00pm : Sienzzz...since nothing 2 do...went 2 basketball court...do what? Slack there......
2.30pm : Im tired wif the word slack...i'll change...when got time lor...

The registration starts...after registration, we are placed in different classes according to gender and fate.
I was placed in class 2E, together wif Wei Khai, Anwar , my team member Arzaq and somebody else.
The other boys were placed in class 2D, which is juz beside our class.
The girls were placed at another floor.

2.31pm : Since nothing 2 do in class...I sla...walk around in class...

After walking in circles for some time.........................

I start to walk in square.........

I feel bored...then i go out into the walkway...and walk in star shape...

Sometime later......

The AJK shouted and we all went into the dewan and i met with the other group members.

Analysis(Some are done after the camp)
Group:Bear...ok...makes me think of winnie the pooh...

Gender: 2 male 5 female...ok...this will be hard...

Captain: Aida Ang,16,F......the main support in the team...she provides some good idea sometimes...oh and shes also my my main chinese-english translater, since my english is seriously cacated...

Vice :Tan Li Liang,16,M......The worst english speaker in the group...always ask aida 4 help X.X...need more comments...=.= i duno wad 2 write abt myself...(my group de members, any comment abt me?)

Group members:
1.Arzaq Ahmad,14,M...haiz...we 2 are the only boys in tis team...zzz Arzaq is quiet...wayyyyyyy QUIET...in team la...shy gua...i think he only talks 2 me(only the members in bear group)throughout da whole camp...

2.Crystal Lee,13,F...da main speaker in bear group...hobby is 2 laugh randomly when bored...wth...Cute and energetic...sometimes cant hear wad i say...(aida oso leh...my volume so low?????)Oh ya, and she owns in debate o.O

3.Pricilla Fransis,13,F...yeah...another quiet 1...but le...she tried her best when doin activities, like while playin obstacle course, she performed well :) btw, she's da head prefect in her old school o.o

4.Tan Suk Nee,15,F...da victim of "crystal's disease"...till the second day of camp she oso starts 2 laugh randomly wif crystal =.=...do things tidy, and she together wif crystal plotted most of our dancing steps 4 MK :),except 4 me and arzaq de dance step...Oh ya, and she was followed by a random guy when we were doin hiking on the 3rd day XD nt a bad experience, huh?

5.Poh Khay Ryn,13,F...Our main cook...All hail......the eggs she cook is T-A-S-T-Y o.O dun play play...seldom speak to outsiders but speak quite alot 2 team members =.=...also helped our team in debating wif...Wei Nee grr...

I went 4 my braces appointment last saturday.

The orthodontist told me dat in order 2 complete my braces in time(cuz got 1 tooth still out of position),shes goin 2 pluck out 1 of my wisdom tooth(the most "in" de tooth) to make it look tidy...(she plucked out 4 of my pre-molar b4 i start 2 put on my braces 2 years ago zzz...)

So...wadever...she inject anesthetic and told me it will be done in seconds...so...she start da operation.

Rules:

The orthodontist explained that it took so long because the root of my tooth spread out wide,stoping it from coming out...wan me put photo ma? Tell me in chat box...

So i went back...put a cotton on my wound...cuz if da wound kena water, the water will flush away the platelets and the wound will take longer 2 heal...and da wound bleed tills...Sunday 5pm!!! omg...

I eat porridge for my breakfast,lunch,dinner and supper...zzz and i eat and drink wif straw(a very big 1 :) )...but it is still hard...and in the end...I go blender my porridge...zzz

After da bleeding stops...fever...zzz so i nvr went 4 school today(monday...) :p

Zzz...This morning on the way to school, when my driver's car reach the school gate, I was given 2 choices

......
1.Tell driver 2 fetch me at 1.15
2.Tell driver 2 fetch me at 4.00

I chose the 2nd option. Because I decided to stay back for bomba...since i ponteng-ed
since last last last...last...err...last week...i think...(=p dun tell khai jett...)

So...yeah...the school went quite well...and soon...it is over :p

Then,Kin Yen told me:"No unit beruniform today."

=.=lll...so i got 2 choices

......
1.Phone my driver and tell him to fetch me at 1.15
2.Stay in school

So...I decide 2 stay in school 2 and keep my 10 cent for the "Power Of TEN CENTS!!!!!" tomorrow...Since i did not donate anything since the day it started...

So, what should I do?

2.Go to library to do homework

I chose option 1, to stay in the canteen...because i don't think there are any homework today...gua...

Then, I met Min Bun...

I look at the trees outside the canteen...they're like shaking their heads off...zzz fine...play ping pong @.@ btw his sister, Vivian is also celebrating her birthday...so...happy b'day Vivian!

So, simply the game was dominated by Min Bun, until Vivian suddenly appear beside him, a slice of b'day cake in her hand. Min Bun was about to say thank you(i think)...but instead, Vivian push that slice of cake on Min Bun's face...XD sry no photo :p lol...then there's a lil small commotion...then we continue our game

So, the game goes on...while playing, I somehow manage to get a clear and nice shot. So...

Yup thats da formula. No problem. so i hit da ball wif 501 N force at 45'. But instead of hitting da ball...my bat fly out...hitting a form 2 scout at his forehead [o.o]!!and he bleeds DAMN ALOT!!!So we took him 2 da pejabat...stop his bleeding...then his parents took him back...haiz...demerit 10 marks...I think...

Not a bad day...at all...zzz

THE regular use of text messages and e-mails can lower the IQ more than twice as much as smoking marijuana.
That is the claim of psychologists who have found that tapping away on a mobile phone or computer keypad or checking them for electronic messages temporarily knocks up to 10 points off the user’s IQ.

This rate of decline in intelligence compares unfavourably with the four-point drop in IQ associated with smoking marijuana, according to British researchers, who have labelled the fleeting phenomenon of enhanced stupidity as “infomania”.

Research on sleep deprivation suggests that the IQ drop caused by electronic obsession is also equivalent to a wakeful night.

Infomania is mainly a problem for adult workers, especially men, the study commissioned by Hewlett Packard, the technology company, has concluded.

The noticeable drop in IQ is attributed to the constant distraction of “always on” technology when employees should be concentrating on what they are paid to do. Infomania means that they lose concentration as their minds remain fixed in an almost permanent state of readiness to react to technology instead of focusing on the task in hand.

Workers lose productivity by interrupting a business meeting and disrupt social gatherings because of their infirmity, the report said.

The brain also finds it hard to cope with juggling lots of tasks at once, reducing its overall effectiveness, it added. And while modern technology can have huge benefits, excessive use can be damaging not only to a person’s mind, but to their social life.

Eighty volunteers took part in clinical trials on IQ deterioration and 1,100 adults were interviewed.

More than six in ten (62 per cent) of people polled admit that they were addicted to checking their e-mail and text messages so assiduously that they scrutinised work-related ones even when at home or on holiday. Half said that they always responded immediately to an email and one in five (21 per cent) will interrupt a meeting to do so.

Furthermore, infomania is having a negative effect on work colleagues, increasing stress and dissenting feelings. Nine out of ten polled thought that colleagues who answered e-mails or messages during a face-to-face meeting were extremely rude. Yet one in three Britons believes that it is not only acceptable, but actually diligent and efficient to do so.

The effects on IQ were studied by Dr Glenn Wilson, a University of London psychologist, as part of the research project.

“This is a very real and widespread phenomenon,” he said. “We have found that infomania, if unchecked, will damage a worker’s performance by reducing their mental sharpness.

“Companies should encourage a more balanced and appropriate way of working.”

The report suggests that firms who give employees gadgets and devices to help them keep in touch from wherever they might be should also produce guidelines on use.

These “best practice tips” including using “dead time”, such as travelling time, to read messages and check e-mails and turning devices off in meetings. David Smith, commercial manager of Hewlett Packard, said: “The research suggests that we are in danger of being caught up in a 24-hour ‘always on’ society.

“This is more worrying when you consider the potential impairment on performance and concentration for workers, and the consequent impact on businesses.”

He said that although the company produced such technology, it was similar to a motor manufacturer making a 150mph sports car and telling drivers to stick within speed limits.

He added: “Similarly, ‘always on’ technology has proven productivity benefits but people need to use it responsibly. We know that technology makes us more effective, but we also know that misuse of technology can be counter-productive.”
